Handmade in Sussex, England, Chisel & Mouse have produced a stunning sculpture of the Fisher Apartments, paying a fitting homage to the stunning modernist property in Gold Coast district of Chicago. This model is made of strong plaster that has a reassuring weight and smooth, cool feel. The window frames and door are made of etched brass.
The Fisher Apartments were built in 1938 by architects Andrew N. Rebori and Edgar Miller for the famed developer Frank Fisher. Rebori was tasked with creating 13 stylish apartments worthy of the zip code and price tag! The result, a private and tranquil space, an escape from the hubbub of Chicago.
